The ETH MAS in Global Cooperation and Sustainable Development welcomes students from all disciplines: from the humanities to natural sciences, from social sciences to engineering.

Formal requirements
A Master’s degree acknowledged by ETH Zürich or equivalent educational qualifications.

Application process
Applications which meet all of the formal requirements are evaluated by NADEL in a two-stage process. First, the academic qualifications, experience in international cooperation, personal motivation, and capability for a career in international cooperation are assessed based on the written application. Second, a select group of applicants are invited for interviews in May 2024. The interviews will be conducted in English.

Number of participants
The number of MAS participants is limited to 24.

Costs and financial support
The costs for the MAS programme (CHF 6'260) as well as the living costs during the two study semesters in Zurich must be covered by the students. The costs for the on-the-job training (airfare, insurance and a contribution to local living costs) are covered by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
